Constance Hornig, Esq., an attorney specializing in drafting and negotiating solid waste agreements, brings 30 years of experience in the solid waste industry to Forester University. Hornig is a recognized expert in all aspects of integrated waste management, including: collection, recycling, transfer, processing, disposal and incineration, and has provided legal counsel to over 50 cities, counties, special districts and state agencies in the area of solid waste management.
Hornig has served as bond counsel or underwriters counsel for over 20 debt financings for solid waste facilities, and served on the California Pollution Control Financing Authority’s (CPCFA) team of authorized project feasibility consultants. Additionally, Hornig has written and presented on a wide range of topics related to solid waste management, and is recognized as the premier solid waste attorney in the Western United States.
Hornig graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Chicago. Hornig is the owner of the Law Offices of Constance Hornig, and is located in Los Angeles, California.
