ADVERTISING SALES EXECUTIVE
Our trade magazine publishing company is looking for outstanding candidates to sell print and on-line advertising:
- The position is based in Santa Barbara
- Mostly phone work with some limited travel
- Base salary plus commission
Duties & responsibilities
- Meet and exceed specified sales goals in assigned publications
- Develop new business
- Provide a superior level of customer service.
- Work with directly with clients as well as advertising agencies
Education and/or experience
- BS/BA Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Minimum 2 years selling experience, preferably in media sales
- Experience in customer focused selling.
- Must have strong customer service, presentation, and problem solving skills
General skills
- Focused, disciplined, and resourceful with a strong work ethic and business maturity
- Interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person
- Excellent organization and time management
- Commitment to customer service
Computer skills
Thorough knowledge of MS-Office and common Internet applications
